Arkansas does not have specific state policies that impact school library/media centers' use of digital information resources. However the Arkansas Standards for Accreditation say “The school mediacollection shall consist of a balance of print, nonprint, and electronic media adequate in quality and quantity to meet the needs of the developmentally appropriate curricular program.”

However, the Arkansas Standards for Accreditation say “Sufficient resources shall be budgeted and spent yearly for purchasing and maintaining an appropriate, current collection.”
